Saturday’s panel peeled at the finer details of building a Psychonauts 2 level, from incorporating new abilities and enemies to the psychological origins of its construction. The differentiated level design in the sequel isn’t new to the series, but the Double Fine team can’t just directly rehash what fans saw in the first game. Psychonauts 2 continues with main character Razputin (always referred to as Raz) returning to Psychonauts Headquarters, which has changed its benevolent focus in the absence of its leader.
